Coach Michael Wiggins 

 

Michael Wiggins, understands the winning formula and "HARD WORK" habits that it takes to win and be successful in life. 

In 1990 he was selected as a member of the McDonalds all-american and all Dekalb county team while playing basketball for coah Julius Thompson at Southwest Dekalb High School in Decatur GA. where he also played baseball.

  

Michael was offered various Division I scholarships and decided to continue his basketball career by accepting a scholarship to Wichita State University where he started as a freshman.  He finished runner-up for the Missouri Valley's conference freshman of the year averaging 10.9 pts and 6.8 rebounds per game. Michael recieved his bachelor's degree in Computer Science with minor in Mathematics in 1994 while playing basketball for the shoockers.

 

Born May 11, 1972, he is the son of John and Rose Wiggins and has 1 other brother Tony who played baseball at Tennessee Tech in Nashville, TN.
